Chapter 1

One terrifying night, I stood at the top of the dark green muddy hill. I looked at the sky; the clouds were black as a blackboard. Suddenly I could here giant footsteps… I looked in front of me I could see a tall man in big back cape, and walking towards me. He looked at me and smiled I was scared and I didn’t know what to do. I though: I wish my friends were here with me. I turned round as quick as I could and started to run faster and faster. I was surprised my wish had come true my friends Keisha and Nicole were here. A huge thunderstorm gathered above and pared down with the rain. Me, Keisha and Nicole ran up to a old house and I knocked on the dusty door. An old lady appeared at the door. ‘Can we come in, we are lost and I can’t this rain and thunderstorm’ I suggested.

The old lady made us a cup of tea and some fairy cakes with some biscuits. I looked around the house and noticed a picture of the man in the cape that we saw when I was at the top of the hill. ‘Is that your son Mrs shelly’ I asked kindly.

‘Yes he always walks around the street looking for children to scare with his big black cape.’ she replied in a funny mad voice as she was the one who was meant to scare children. ‘We saw him in his black cape and fake yellow teeth.’ I whispered.

Mrs shelly looked quiet shaky and scared. ‘We have got to find him I love him he is my handsome son, when ever I look at him he makes me think of his dad.’

‘ we will find him tomorrow Mrs shelly and calm down now its ok his fine and I’ m sure he will recognise you’ I suggested.

Chapter 2

The next morning, I woke up on the lady’s old sofa. I stood up, yawned and crept up the stairs and went in Mrs Shelly’s bedroom and I pulled the duvets off the bed. SUDDENLY…Mrs Shelly wasn’t in bed. I started to breath heavily and my heart started to pump faster and faster. In the house I looked everywhere for her.

I went to Keisha and Nicole’s room where they where sleeping. I woke both of them up and I told her we had to look for Mrs Shelly.

Chapter 3: Looking for Mrs Shelly

Me, keisha and Nicole ran out to look for Mrs Shelly, as we got up the hill we heard a scream. ‘Mrs Shelly’ keisha, Nicole and I shouted the same time. We were running as fast as we could and my shoelaces came untied and I had to do them before I fell over. As I was doing my laces my friends kept on running and didn’t notice the big tunnel full of water so they just fell into it and I heard them scream. I was on the next shoe, I looked down there was a black shadow. ‘Aaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh’ I screamed. I slowly got up and started run as fast as I could. The man or woman who was behind me started running and caught me bye my finger, middle finger. It was the Man in the black cape. I screamed. ‘Where is my mother I need her if you tell me where she is I wont kill you if you don’t I will kill you with my sharp nails.’ He suggested in a viscous loud voice. ‘She fell down the big tunnel with water in and my friends went looking for her and they fell in two.’ I replied. The man in the black cape went and I finished tying my shoelaces. ‘What’s your name big giant’ I shouted out. He looked back and said ‘The man in the black cape.

He looked back again and smiled and I smiled back. The man in the black cape went down the tunnel and rescued all 3 at once and said I love my mama and kissed her. ‘I love you to son I’m glad I found you.
