THE MIDNIGHT WALK

CHAPTER 1

“AHHH” screamed Shaun “WHAT IS THE MATTER SEAN” ASKED JAKE. THEY HAD GONE ON A MIDNIGHT WALK. “LOOK OVER THERE”

“OH MY GOD IT’S A BIRD I AM SOOOO FRIGHTENED” Jake said sarcastically. There sitting behind them was a hug dark figure but they didn’t know that it was there.

A couple of minutes HAD GONE BY AND ALL OF A SUDDEN JAKE TURNED IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. AFTER A HASTY GASP SHAUN SAID

“What’s up”

“err Em nothing, thought I heard strange sounds. Shall we go this way” Jake answered pointing right.

Jake walked faster and faster towards the hilltops, their dark ominous shape cut a threatening figure against the frozen sky. Shaun decided to take the littlest peek behind him so he turned swiftly.

SHAUN STOPPED DEAD…

He ran and ran without even looking back.

THIS WAS ONE MIDNIGHT WALK THAT HAD GONE BADLY WRONG…

Shaun thought to himself. ‘will I ever survive this hellish night?’ He began to gallop bravely onwards, as he ran his mind was racing with thoughts of what could happen to him.

Jake had to take a break so he stopped gasping for breath for breath. He thought ‘shall I go back for Shaun, but what about if he has gone and I get captured… I’m going back’ After a few had past Jake stood up and raced back towards Shaun.

THE SECRET CAVE

CHAPTER 2

An hour had come and gone, but there was still no sight of Shaun, so he decided to take a little look around. He walked onwards as he turned a sharp corner he saw a deep hole, it looked like a cave, so Jake intended to take the smallest peek, and so he did.

Inside the cave Jake saw a slight blinker of a light. Jake wondered around for a while. Jake strolled forward. He saw a dark figure so he SAT slowly down in gloomy spot. He sat there heart pounding. The dark figure spoke deeply he said “I am Igor” scarily walked towards Jake he ran but he ended up at a dead end.

` Igor followed Jake with his fulsome lantern swinging from side to side. Igor whispered to Jake “I know where your friend is”

Rapidly Jake sat up “where” Jake believed “Come with me” Igor said “your friend is in a secret dungeon that only I and you will now know about” Igor explained to him.
